Viene inoltre spiegato loro che:a) se solo uno dei due confessa, chi ha confessato evita la pena; l'altro viene però condannato a 7 anni di carcere.b) se entrambi confessano, vengono entrambi sentenced to 6 anni.c) if neither confesses, both are sentenced to a anno.I two prisoners cooperate to minimize the condemnation of both or either will betray each other to minimize their own?

What I mentioned is a famous paradox. It's called "The Prisoner's Dilemma" and proposed a mathematical game in the '50s by Albert Tucker.
The solution to the game is that prisoners will seek to 'maximize its utility' and end both to confess. Confessing, in fact, each of them knows that, whatever happens, will have the maximum sentence, and could even prevent it.
The dilemma in itself can equally well describe the race weapons, their 50s, by the U.S. and the USSR (the two prisoners) during the Cold War.

Tibet. Viaggiatori nell'Oriente ignoto, con Marco Vasta

Marco Vasta presented the book "In the East UNKNOWN PASSENGER" (144 pages, 85 color photographs, FBE 2007 editions, photographs by Stefano Pensotti). It is a photographic book on the regions of Eastern Tibet Stefano Pensotti has repeatedly crossed in the past ten years bringing back images of a world that, alas, disappear within a generation.

A labyrinth of valleys and mountain ranges intersected by deep gorges, alpine features the most densely populated and less well known Tibet: Tibet is the east, rich in tradition, inhabited by nomads and warriors, made famous by the writings of those few travelers in the first '900 throughout the land for adventure, passion for science, to know a dangerous world and shrouded in mystery.
Among these valleys have been written last glorious page in the Tibetan empire when the warlike and indomitable Khampa, considered the fiercest nGolok marauders, the Amdowa yak and sheep farmers, objected strenuously to the Chinese army. The authors are now in Italy the most qualified experts in those distant lands, they traveled to knowing how to move the sad and terrible story of Tibet, a magical land has been preserved, despite everything, a treasure of human culture which should be a "heritage of humanity. "

This volume, like the previous "Ladakh" is applied to a humanitarian organization: the sale is in favor of Landom Model High School in Zanskar to z non-profit organization supported in Italy. Z
intends to promote access to education, particularly young people, in accordance with the pari opportunità fra uomo e donna, senza alcuna distinzione politica o religiosa.

Think about the actions and other complex cell processes. The fact that the colors of the flower have evolved to attract pollinators, for example, is interesting: it means that insects can see colors. And one wonders: can we find the aesthetic sense of man even in lower forms of life? Many fascinating questions arise from scientific knowledge: this can only increase the sense of wonder, mystery and respect that comes in front of a flower. Only increase. I do not understand how and what might fall. "

By reading these reflections of Feynman, who in 1959 proposed the advent of nanotechnology, Prof. Jasper has introduced one of the most visionary and eclectic scientists of the twentieth century. Feynman striking fact for its ability to describe objects and technologies unimaginable in his time, as if he could actually 'see' in his mind. Things that obviously could only guess instead. Amazing how he came to these insights is not known, but we can safely assume that the extent and versatility of its scientific expertise, which is typical of the eclectic minds, allowed him to 'cross' otherwise isolated information and draw conclusions from new and unusual. Feynman was a scientist and therefore particularly man 'Renaissance' and this peculiarity, that made him a prophet of a new science that could follow, however, only the first steps - he died in 1988 - is contained in the famous prayer which was held at Caltech in '59 and we listened to some songs from the voice of the Alice Salvoldi.

Among other things, Feynman speaks of a therapeutic use of 'nanowires': "[...] You put the mechanical surgeon in a blood vessel, and these, following the current gets to the heart and looks around (of course information should be transferred outside). Learn about the defective valve with a small scalpel work.

La Stampa, Wednesday, January 21, 2009 public: "It 'was created in Paris a nanorobots whose thickness is similar to that of two or three hairs, which should travel and arrive in the arteries to the brain and check for any abnormalities. The university has created a team of Clayton, Australia [similar objects were also conducted in the laboratories of Tel Aviv dell'Unversità ed.] The mechanism, with a diameter of 250 nanometers, will be equipped with a tiny engine that can let him go up the blood stream. The first experiment, when it will be done is to enter the neck. "Further comments on the Prof. Masserini, a professor at Milano-Bicocca: "When we talk about nanosommergibili can carry medicines, but we're already thinking about tools that have the 'equipment' cells that can repair or intervene to make interventions nano surgery .."

seems that the dream of Feynman (made 50 years ago) is becoming an amazing reality.

The pair 'a complex system consisting of two individuals who have their own identity', relationship, job, friendships, and habits that are influenced by the environment.
There 'is a case in particular that triggers a crisis and there is not a precise moment when this happens, it happens sometimes that's all.

As we explained at the conference Dr. Lucia Portella, often you get to a crisis, a breakdown, a betrayal not understand their reason.
The crisis is not, however, never determined by a single event, but a combination of factors which, over time, leading to light a series of problems and often lead people to consult a competent professional to shed light on possible causes .
In many cases, the crisis is triggered by a change in the lives of one or both of the individuals that make up the pair. The change of job or a promotion, motherhood ', the decision to live together and be aware of habits and defects of the other may in fact be the root cause.

There is no real rule to prevent the crisis [in fact, is often not at all well to prevent it. The crisis is indeed a natural process of evolution of the pair and as such represents an opportunity, if well managed, rather than a danger! Editor's note], but you can follow some basic principles to be 'that this will be resolved. For example, to maintain and respect the diversity 'of the other component of the pair, accept the moments of success of the other, be open to the external environment and not to turn in a world of "two", meet and attend other colleagues and generally try to be participatory and informed of its work and again, express willingness to accept each other the changes that will necessarily happen at different stages of married life.
